CHINA-EURO freight train service has been running five to seven days late because of major
congestions, high winds and severe cold which has slowed container
lifting at the Shankou-Dostyg Kazakstan border crossing, according to Hong
Kong's Eliron Cargo Tracking.
"Currently there are many
trains at the border and it's difficult to estimate border crossing
times," said the Eliron Cargo Tracking statement.
"During the year 2018 the
average border grossing time at the Shankou-Dostyg have been two days," it
said.
Its note to clients reads: "The
11.27 Shankou westbound ZZ train with 5,665 km until Brest with 5,695 km to
Mala, with 6,655 km to Hamburg. We will adjust the real-time operations of the
train, not having new information, please be informed."
