JEROME Lorrain has
been promoted to the position of chief operating officer freight management
at CEVA Logistics based in Houston, Texas. In his new role he will be
responsible for air and ocean freight on top of his current position as head of
the ground business line.
Mr Lorrain, a member of the
company's executive board, takes over the air and ocean role from Helmut
Kaspers who has left the company, reported London's Air Cargo News.

Michael O'Donoghue will assume Mr
Lorrain's role as managing director for North America from January 1. It has not
been announced yet who will fill Mr O'Donoghue's current role.
"I would like to congratulate
Jerome and Michael on their well-deserved promotions. They are two exceptional
individuals with wide-ranging business skills which make them ideally suited to
their new roles," chief executive Xavier Urbain was
quoted as saying.
Before joining CEVA, Mr Lorrain was
chief executive officer of Wallenborn Transports in Luxembourg and prior to
that worked at Kuehne + Nagel for a decade.
Mr O'Donoghue joined CEVA in 2010
following a 25-year career in the freight and logistics industry which included
senior management positions in both contract logistics and freight management
for DHL.
