EVERGREEN Marine Corp (Taiwan) Ltd has reshuffled its senior executive line-up, with president Jack Yen being promoted to vice chairman.
Captain CJ Wang, chief executive vice president, has been appointed president, and Anchor Chang, executive vice president of the international business division, now becomes chief executive vice president.
Mr Yen joined Evergreen in 1978 and later became president of Evergreen Star Hong Kong Ltd, where he was responsible for the mainland China market, reported American Shipper. He was later appointed president of Evergreen Deutschland, and then made president of Evergreen Marine Corp (Taiwan) in 2007.
Mr Wang started in Evergreen as a third officer in 1976 and was promoted to captain in 1986. He served 11 years at sea, and later was promoted to top management of Evergreen Container Terminal (Thailand) Ltd in 1997.
Between 2000 and 2004 he was junior vice president and senior vice president in various positions in Taiwan. In 2004 he became executive vice president of the corporate operation division and promoted to chief executive vice president in 2009.
Mr Chang joined Evergreen Marine in 1986 in sales. From 2003 to 2006 he worked in the project division in Taipei where he was promoted to senior vice president. From 2006 to 2007 he transferred to the international business division and was promoted to the position of executive vice president.
