TAIWAN's EVA Air has taken delivery of its 16th and 17th
Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircraft, raising its fleet to 49.
"Our new Boeing 777-300ERs will allow us to initiate
significant changes in the flying experience we offer passengers around the
world," said chairman KW Chang.
"EVA Air is a long-standing Boeing customer and we
are honoured to commemorate this historic double airplane delivery in
celebration of our 25-year partnership," said Boeing vice president
Ihssane Mounir.
The B777-300ER can seat up to 386 passengers and fly a
maximum range of 14,490 kilometres.
