Asia network has set itself up
as an technical dispenser of shipping information giving shippers a heads up on
what's up in a period of supply chain volatility.
"Our customers
have local touch points across Asia through our office network which includes
Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore," said Canadian
Pacific Asia manager Corey Heinz.
"With container
shortages, port congestion and the global knock-on effects of the Suez
blockage, it is essential that shippers have the most up-to-date information
about schedules, berth availability and intermodal connections," he said.
As shippers across Asia
try to manage volatility across the supply chain, it has been the local
