[020920.EN.SEA] OOCL to Cancel October Transpacific Sailings as Demand Falls

 

HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced nine transpacific sailing cancellations in response to a reduction in demand in October.

On the Pacific China North 1 (PCN1) service, with the port rotation of Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Prince Rupert, Long Beach, Seattle and back to Tianjin, the October 3 sailing from Tianjin will be cancelled.

On the Pacific China Central 1 (PCC1) service with the port rotation of Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Long Beach, Busan and Ningbo, the October 10 sailing from Ningbo will be cancelled.

On the Vietnam China Service (VCS) service with the port rotation of Shanghai, Ningbo, Long Beach, Oakland, Lianyungang and Shanghai, the October 9 sailing from Shanghai will be cancelled.

On the Pacific North West 1 (PNW1) service with the port rotation of Shekou, Hong Kong, Yantian, Kaohsiung, Vancouver, Seattle, Busan, Kaohsiung and Shekou, the October 17 sailing from Shekou will be cancelled.

On the Pacific North West 2 (PNW2) service with the port rotation of Yantian, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Seattle, Vancouver and Yantian, the October 5 sailing from Yantian will be cancelled.

On the Pacific North West 4 (PNW4) service with the port rotation of Hong Kong, Yantian, Ningbo, Shanghai, Prince Rupert, Vancouver, Shanghai and Hong Kong, the October 6 sailing from Hong Kong will be cancelled.

On the East Coast China 2 (ECC2) service with the port rotation of Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Colon, Savannah, Charleston, Boston, New York, Colon, Qingdao, the October 6 sailing from Qingdao will be cancelled.

On the Gulf Coast China 1 (GCC1) service with the port rotation of Hong Kong, Shekou, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Houston, Mobile, New Orleans, Miami, Singapore and Hong Kong October 9 sailing from Hong Kong will be cancelled.

On the Gulf Coast China 2 (GCC2) service with the port rotation of Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Yantian, Houston, Mobile, Tampa and Shanghai, the October 4 sailing from Shanghai will be cancelled.
