SIA Cargo has appointed Lik Hsin Lee new president
replacing Kai Ping Tan on August 1 who rejoins parent company Singapore Airlines
as senior vice president, corporate planning, a post now held by Mr Lee.
Management changes are part of a programme to rotate
senior executives into different roles within the SIA Group, a Singapore
Airlines Cargo statement said.
Mr Lee has been with Singapore Airlines since 1994 and
has served in various positions in the head office and overseas, including
Beijing, San Francisco and Tokyo. He has been senior vice president of
corporate planning since early 2011, and before that, divisional vice president
of planning.
Mr Tan has been president of SIA Cargo since early 2010,
having joined Singapore Airlines in 1995 after which he has held senior
positions in SIA's cargo division before being appointed president of
Shanghai-based Great Wall Airlines in 2005. He returned to SIA Cargo in 2008 as
senior vice president of operations.
