The service will deploy six vessels of 4,250 TEU, of
which three will come from Yang Ming, two from UASC, and one by CSCL, reports
Alphaliner.
The inaugural sailing will depart from Xiamen on December
5 with a revised port rotation: Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Oakland
and back to Xiamen.
Yang Ming's existing PSW2 is to have slot swaps with both
carriers and be renamed as AAS3 by CSCL and AWS3 by USAC. It will have the port
rotation of Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Kaohsiung, Keelung, Los Angeles,
Oakland, Busan, Kwangyang, Keelung, Kaohsiung and back to Hong Kong.
CSCL's AAC will swap slots with the Taiwanese carrier.
