[220619.EN.SEA] OOCL Cancels Sailings as Demand Slows And Peak Season Approaches


HONG KONG’s Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco union, has announced the cancellation to a number of transpacific sailings in response to low seasonal demand.

Thus, in the Pacific China South 1 (PCS1) service, the sailing of CMA CGM Mexico with its ETA Fuqing on July 13 in Week 28 for eastbound, and its ETA Los Angeles on August 4 in Week 31 for westbound has been cancelled.

Service resumes with CMA CGM Christophe Colomb with its ETA at Fuqing on July 20 in Week 29 for eastbound, and ETA Los Angeles on August 11 in Week 32 for westbound.

In regards to the Pacific North West 2 (PNW2) service, the sailing of the APL Houston E/W ETA Yantian on July 1 in Week 27 for eastbound, and ETA Seattle on July 21 in Week 29 for westbound has been cancelled.

Service resumes with APL Southampton 229E/W with its a ETA of July 8 in Week 28 for eastbound, and ETA Seattle on July 28 in Week 30 for westbound.

In regard to the CMA CGM Musca E/W, with its ETA Yantian on July 15 in Week 29 for eastbound, and ETA Seattle on August 4 in Week 31 for westbound has been cancelled.
Service resumes with APL Paris 405E/W with its ETA Yantian on July 22 in Week 30 for eastbound, and its ETA Seattle on August 11 in Week 32 for westbound.
