CHINESE
retail giant Alibaba.com
and the world's biggest ocean shipping forwarder Kuehne + Nagel are have
made a deal to provide e-commerce solutions to Alibaba customers.
The
solutions cover all transport modes and contract logistics outside of China.
K+N is to provide less-than-container-load (LCL) solutions as well.
For
the past year, Alibaba.com's paid members in China have obtained quotations,
booked pickup and delivery services for air freight consignments via K+N's
digital solution on Alibaba.com.

Nagel to offer SME customers comprehensive logistics services, enabling them to
capitalise on cross-border trade opportunities."
