DEUTSCHE Post DHL has claimed three prestigious awards of
Best Express Operator, Best Logistics Service Provider - Air Freight and Best 3PL
at the 27th Asian Freight and Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA) in Beijing.
On collecting the Best Express Operator award for the
25th year running, DHL Express Asia Pacific chief executive Jerry Hsu said the
accolade is a strong vote of confidence from its customers.
"Without the support of all our customers, partners
and most importantly - our employees, this achievement would not have been
possible. We constantly look at ways to raise the bar on our service
capabilities because we are an intensely customer-centric company," Mr Hsu
said.
The award for Best Logistics Service Provider in air
freight is a sign that DHL has won confidence and trust from more than 12,000
fellow industry professionals, said DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific CEO
Kelvin Leung.
The Best 3PL award is a significant endorsement said Paul
Graham, CEO of DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa with
EUR200 million (US$259 million) to be invested in the future to strengthen its
Asian markets of India, Indonesia, Japan and Thailand.
The awards, sponsored by Cargonews Asia, honour
leadership as well as consistency in service quality, innovation, customer
relationship management and reliability, a company statement said.
