[EN-LOG] "GAC" Announces Two New Agreements

GAC has entered into an agreement with the "AT&T Williams" F1 team, and has partnered with "BabyCord Jordan" to provide a new specialised service.

GAC has agreed to partner the AT&T Williams Formula One motor racing team in developing cost efficient logistics services in support of the team's efforts to meet the demands of an industry-wide cost reduction program.

The strategic partnership will help the AT&T Williams team respond effectively to increasing pressure to reduce costs in the sport.

Under the agreement, GAC will provide efficient logistics support in connection with the Team's Formula One freight requirements, and will oversee the management of the equipment for a challenging global program that visits nineteen different countries on five continents in nine months.

GAC will also provide logistics services from the new Williams Technology Centre in Qatar, the first F1-related technical centre outside the sport's traditional heartland of Europe. GAC is responsible for shipping equipment to Qatar and providing day-to-day support at the facility.

GAC Jordan has launched a specialist service in partnership with BabyCord Jordan to package umbilical cord blood for delivery and storage to medical institutions and hospitals in Europe, the US and Canada.

BabyCord Jordan aims to protect the health of newborn babies and their families by storing umbilical cord stem cells for possible future use to combat disease or to treat medical conditions through its Cord Blood Banking Services.

As part of its new highly specialist service, GAC Jordan ensures the safe and secure shipping of blood to the storage facility.

On the day the baby is delivered, a GAC technical staff member will be at the hospital to handle the specialised packing of the baby cord samples and necessary documentation. The package is then dispatched immediately via special express service to facilities in Europe or North America, where the sample will be processed and stored under strict guidelines for up to twenty years.
