[300710.EN.SEA] OOCL Boss CL Ting Retires After 36 Years With Company

HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced a series of changes at its headquarters that affect a number of management positions from August 1.

Long time leader CL Ting, managing director, corporate planning, retires after 36 years with the company. He is said to have played a key role in building OOCL into a successful organisation.

Stephen Ng, currently director, Trans-Pacific Trade, will succeed Mr Ting as director of the corporate planning department. He will be appointed director of OOCL.

Michael Kwok, currently general manager, corporate administration, will be appointed as director of trades. He will also be appointed as a director of OOCL.

Furthermore, Tony Tong will be promoted to director, Trans-Pacific Trade.
