[310711.EN.SEA] CSCL, Hapag-Lloyd, 'K' Line, NYK Line Invest In Far East/Africa Loop

CHINA Shipping Container Lines, Hapag-Lloyd, "K" Line and NYK Line will operate a joint vessel sharing agreement on a weekly service between the Far East and South Africa and West Africa with the addition of a Singapore port call as of August in response to rapid growth in African trade.

The service will deploy 11 vessels of average capacity 2,500 TEU of which CSCL will provide four, NYK Line three and "K" Line and Hapag-Lloyd four each with an average round trip duration of 77 days.

The port rotation will be Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shenzhen-Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang, Durban, Tema, Lome, Cotonou, Lagos-Tincan Island, Durban, Port Kelang, Singapore and back to Shanghai.
