CONTAINER shipping line OOCL says by using its latest
"OOCL Lite 4.1" software version, registered "My OOCL
Centre" (MOC) customers are now able to access shipment details in a more
secure environment, over their smartphones.
By logging in with the MOC user ID and password,
customers can look up shipment details by Bill of Lading, booking, container,
customer reference numbers, and find out about shipment parties, routing and
freight charges.
OOCL Lite 4.1 developed by CargoSmart and intended to
enhance customer service and operational efficiency for transportation
partners, is now available in the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play
(Android).
A statement said customers can also monitor the expiry
date of detention and demurrage of the specific shipments, and receive
reminders about necessary information or documents to be submitted before a
certain date.
"We are constantly exploring new features to offer
enhanced visibility and convenience to customers for managing their shipment
while on the road," it said.
