Ocean Shipping Co (Cosco) new Adriatic-Greece-Turkey service
(AGT) has started calling at Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT),
International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI) facility in the Port
of Rijeka in Croatia.
Rijeka's AGCT is the first port of call of the service
that directly connects the city with Greek and Turkish ports, and also links
the northern Adriatic ports with Piraeus, Greece.
For Rijeka, the AGT service presents huge trade opportunities,
especially for imports.
Three vessels are deployed on the service that calls at
Rijeka once a week. The service also plies the ports of Piraeus, Koper,
Venecija, Ancona, Thessaloniki, Istanbul Ambarli, Istanbul Haydarpasa, Yilport
Gebze and Izmir.
